THE CAMPAIGN

No PAC money accepted.

As of 3/18, 196 supporters have contributed just over $15,000 to the campaign. Average contribution, about $75.00. Campaign on track to meet fundraising goal of $30,000.

Contributions have been received from Democrats, Republicans and Independents

Most notable reportable contribution to date was received (unsolicited) from Lt. Governor John Bohlinger (R).

THE COMMITMENT

Year Round, Full Time Representation for District 70 from a District 70 resident.

As House District 70's State Representative I will:

• Attend no fewer than 4 school board meetings a year in each of HD 70's 7 school districts. Anderson, Bozeman, Cottonwood, Gallatin Gateway, Ophir, Monforton and West Yellowstone.
• Hold no fewer than 2 Town Hall meetings a year in each of HD 70's six precincts. Additional meetings at request of area residents.
• Attend Volunteer Fire Department Board meetings when requested by board members or fire fighters.
• Provide a full time legislative office at the Vincent home in District 70, Gallatin Gateway . Phone, Fax, Email, Interactive web site, constituent service and visits.

THE PLATFORM (ISSUES)

Continue the fight against drugs, especially METH. Interdiction, education, prevention, enforcement and treatment.

Protect public access to public lands and streams, respecting the rights of private land owners.

Fight higher energy costs.

Wage an all out War on Weeds.

Conserve and protect both the quality and the economic viability of our natural resources.

Protect the quantity and quality or our agricultural and recreational water resources.

Fund K-12 education at the levels needed to provide quality education AND reduce local property taxes.

Continue all out effort to improve safety on US 191.

THE PLATFORM (PROCESS)

Too Many Bills! Will develop and propose a Legislative Reform Package that includes a 7 bill introduction limit. Estimated savings to taxpayers of about $1,000,000. (Detailed plan by June 1).
