Paul Richards, Democratic Primary candidate for U.S. Senate,
WHY: We will gather to celebrate Paul's truly remarkable accomplishments
during the Democratic Senate Primary campaign this spring. With wit,
intellect and a deep grasp of the issues, Paul consistently and successfully
insisted that the other candidates focus their words on current policy
problems and solutions.
When polls showed the two leading candidates running a dead heat,
Paul withdrew from the race, and urged his supporters to back Jon Tester.
By doing so, he knew his fundraising efforts would abruptly end, leaving
him with a campaign debt.
We come together to enjoy the music of Greg and Greg, the wisdom of
Bob and Jim, and to honor Paul with our donations to help retire that debt.
