PRIMARY ELECTION IS TUESDAY, JUNE 3, 2008
· Be registered as required by law. · Be 18 years old or older on or before the next election. · Be a citizen of the United States. · Have lived in Gallatin County, MT for at least 30 days. · Not be a convicted felon serving a sentence in a penal institution. · Not have been judged in a court of law to be of unsound mind.
REGULAR VOTER REGISTRATION CLOSES 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ELECTION DAY. *Note: If you miss this regular registration deadline, you may still register for the election by showing up at the Election Department in the County Courthouse, 311 W. Main, Room 103, until noon the day before the election, and then from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. · School Election: First Tuesday after the first Monday in May, each year. (May 6, 2008) · State and County Primary: First Tuesday after the first Monday in June, even years. (June 3, 2008) · State and County General: First Tuesday after the first Monday in November, even years.
