Meet and Greet
U.S. House of Representatives Candidates

The Gallatin County Democrats will host a Meet and Greet with two men whohave announced their candidacy for the U.S. House of Representatives onJanuary 28 at 7 p.m. at the Labor Temple on Rouse and Mendenhall.  

Tyler Gernant, a Missoula attorney, and Dennis McDonald, rancher from Melville, will run on the Democratic ticket in the primary election in June.  The winner will face incumbent Congressman Dennis Rehberg in November.

The Meet and Greet will be an informal opportunity for people in the community to meet the candidates, hear their reasons for running, and learn of the skills that each man brings to the lone office of Montana Congressman.  The evening will include time for questions and answers as
well as casual conversation with the candidates.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Refreshments will be served.

Note:  A third candidate, Melinda Gopher, has declared her candidacy but not
yet filed.  She has been invited as well, but her participation has not been
confirmed.
